Playing since age 10 and self-taught, I first learned by practicing with a laminated paper cord template (probably made in the 50's) overlaid on the keys. I'm sure a professional piano teacher would have a technical field day with me, but I just like to play.

I retired from full time work in 2023 after a three-decade engineering career in the semiconductor industry, and our children are now grown, which provides me more flexibility to schedule events.
